Busy, Busy, Busy Bee! A Different Kind of Ottawa Fringe For Me!

My 2010 Ottawa Fringe experience is likely to be very different from my 2009 Ottawa Fringe experience.

This year, I’m appearing in two shows which means I will perform two shows a night for a week and, on the second Saturday, four shows in one day. Four shows!

For the record, when Ray and I perform the high energy G-Men: Defectives, by the end of the show we are drenched in sweat from the effort. Deliver’d From Nowhere has been described as “Waiting For Godot on speed.” Guess who’s on speed?

I may need speed to make it through the week.

Also, my play Prisoner’s Dilemma is being produced and directed by Wayne of The Many Faces. Although the hard work of writing is done, I will be doing my best to help promote that show as well.

If you want to get a sense of what’s in store for me, watch my Ottawa Tonight interview. See it here.

Did I mention it seems very likely that I will be co-editing a new Fringe Festival gossip newsletter as well? Stay tuned for more details!

I will also be working hard to market and sell Exposure Gallery’s new exhibition: The SPAO Motto Exhibition!

So, I doubt I will be ruling the roost at the beer tent this year! And I probably won’t have the chance to see as many shows either. Boo!

On the plus side, I’ve got to admit, I’m looking forward to the challenge and the excitement of it.
